Joe is a member of the Property Valuation Standards and Practices team at Fannie Mae in Washington, DC. He joined Fannie Mae in 2000 after 18 years as an independent fee appraiser. The Property Valuation Standards and Practices team is responsible for the development and implementation of Fannie Mae's single family property valuation standards, the property component of Desktop Underwriter - Fannie Mae's automated underwriting system, appraisal report forms, property underwriting guidelines and loan eligibility requirements.

Joe represents Fannie Mae on appraisal issues with national organizations, members of the mortgage lending industry, professional trade associations and members of the appraisal industry.
