Sue Potteiger

Sue Potteiger has had a broad range of collateral valuation experience as an appraiser; research assistant, business owner, Chief Appraiser and consultant. Her career began as a staff appraiser in a small lending institution in Seattle. In Kirkland she acquired diverse experience with an independent appraisal company working both residential and commercial projects. Sue owned and managed The Appraisal Group of Kirkland, a residential appraisal company prior to joining Washington Mutual in 1990. While at Washington Mutual Sue conceptualized, managed and implemented a web based appraisal management and delivery system, managed a staff of over 700 employees and collateral services in excess of 1.4 million annually while at the same time dramatically improving service levels, improving efficiencies and decreasing costs. With over 25 years experience in the appraisal field she is an innovative and recognized industry leader. Sue actively participates on national committees and boards of directors with the Appraisal Institute, The Appraisal Foundation, Collateral Risk Consortium, The Arthritis Foundation, CMDC, and AIRD. Sue's other interests include skiing, golf, sea kayaking, traveling and reading.

She was recently named President of American Reporting Company (ARC).
