The company, founded in 1992, is owned by Ann
O’Rourke, MAI, SRA (dba), a practicing appraiser, and is a sole
proprietorship.
Company history
- 1992 - started publishing a monthly
subscription newsletter, Appraisal Today
- 1994 - started sending out weekly email
newsletter
- 1995 - started offering continuing education
for appraisers primarily in Northern California
- 2001 - first national conference,
AppraisalTech 2001

- Additional products include books and
audiotapes
- Printed products and audiotapes are provided
to real estate appraisers and focus on business management, computers and

- First offering in 1995/96 - 3 hour Marketing
for appraisers seminar - Various Western states, sponsored by the Appraisal
Institute
- From 1995 to 1999, almost all seminars were
taught by Ann O’Rourke. Over 50 all day seminars were offered
- The most recent offerings were 18, one and two
day, seminars in 2000, taught by qualified instructors hired by Ann O’Rourke,
who was the administrator for the seminar offerings
