Special Report on Estate appraising
If you’re thinking about doing estate and trust appraisals or are new to these types of appraisals, this report can really help. Even if you’ve been doing them for awhile, there are useful tips, such as don’t underbid when the effective value is not recent.

Included in the Special Report is a significantly expanded version of the July, 2007 Appraisal Today article, “Appraisals for trusts and estates - an excellent diversification opportunity.” Also included are IRS documents .

 

Special Report on FHA appraising (updated 4-08)
FHA loans are increasing due to subprime lending problems. This report includes an analysis of FHA, such as how it differs from conventional lending. Reverse mortgages are also covered, an opportunity most appraisers don’t consider. The Report includes specific information on how to get FHA business. Also included are 15+ pages of HUD documents, including Q&As on the significant 2006 changes, how to get on the Roster, etc.

Special Report on foreclosure appraising
Foreclosures are increasing. This Report covers how they differ from conventional lending appraisals and, more important, specific guidance on how to get foreclosure business.

Special Report on relocation appraising
If you’re thinking about doing relocation appraisals or are new to relocation appraising, this report can really help.

One of the few appraisal directories that works for many appraisers is the Employee Relocation Council’s appraiser directory. The cost for a basic listing for new members is $255 through October 16, 2007. After that date the price is $325. To get in the next printed directory, you must sign up by December 7, 2007.

Included in the 22-page Special Report on Relocation Appraising are a expanded version of the September, 2007 Appraisal Today article, “Relocation appraisal - an increasing appraisal market”, reprinted ERC article “How the Relocation Appraisal Differs from Other Appraisals” plus information on the ERC’s appraisal training class, books, and articles.
